You must be a student, or have applied to study, at Lund University to use our services.

Your ad is not allowed to contain texts or material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, obscene or otherwise objectionable as reasonably determined by BoPoolen.

BoPoolen reserves the right to delete your ad without prior notice.

Homes to let
Your ad must be directed towards students or prospective students at Lund University.

Ads which are placed on BoPoolen’s homepage must concern homes to let.

Your ad is not allowed to contain texts or material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, obscene or otherwise objectionable as reasonably determined by BoPoolen.

It is your responsibility to ascertain that an eventual sublease agreement follows current Swedish legislation.
This, among other things, means:

1. That you have permission from the landlord/tenant-owner's association to sublet your home.
2. That the rent you ask is reasonable. If you are subletting an apartment/room you are not allowed to ask for a rent higher than the rent paid by the holder of the headlease.

Housing advertised on BoPoolen must have an acceptable standard as regulated by Swedish law.
This means for an example:

1. That the housing must be approved from a fire safety point of view.
2. That the housing cannot constitute a danger for the health of the tenant. (e.g., have known mould in the housing).
3. That the housing does not have sanitary conditions which cannot reasonably be accepted.

Any eventual requests asked of the presumptive tenant must be carefully considered.
